Lorcia Cooper Joins The Estate. She has bee in the industry for over 20 years, and is still relevant to date. Over the years, Lorcia Cooper has bagged roles on leading shows like Backstage, Bedford Wives, Lockdown Season II, Housekeepers as well as The Queen.
The award winning actress, choreographer and TV personality has just been cast on yet another major show. Lorcia has joined SABC3 telenovela, The Estate. She plays Jo, a policewoman who will do everything in her power to restore law and order. Another new face that will work alongside Lorcia is David James. The veteran actor plays Detective Labuschagne on the show.
James has acted in several television series including The Confidant, Criminal Minds, Snitch, Jozi Streets, Isidingo, Solving It, Binnelanders, Wild at Heart and Kidnap and Ransom.
He does most of his work in theatre, having performed in dozens of productions since the late 1980s. Theatre productions he has acted in include Kiss Me Kate, Aladdin, Turandot, Willie Wouter, Peter Rabbit, Cinderella, Charlotte’s Web, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, My Fair Lady, Everybody Else is Fucking Perfect, The Rivonia Trials and Jock of the Bushveld.
