Scandal! Fans React To News That Romeo Has Died. It goes without saying that Romeo Medupe was one loved character on Scandal! Although he was full of schemes, Romeo always saved the day, in times of need. His IT expertise and quick thinking always came through for him and his loved ones.
But sadly, even good things do come to an end, and that is what happened to the Romeo character. He ran out of luck when his mother in law Boniswa Langa plotted against him. Boniswa hired a hit-man to kill Romeo and dispose of his body in a river. Romeo, however, survived the hit and Boniswa then ordered the hit-man to replace his body with that of another dead man. The last time viewers saw him was when an old man who rescued him in the wilderness. That gave fans hope that one day he will return.
The talented Hungani Ndlovu, was the man cast to play Romeo. He carried the role so well such that he earned himself a solid fan base. A lot of people though were not sure of his return, and there were already rumors that Loyiso MacDonald who recently left The Queen, was going to be Hungani’s replacement.
While the masses have been waiting in anticipation for Romeo to return, they were crushed when news of his death were shared on the latest episode of Scandal! Viewers are not happy, as they have been waiting for Romeo to come and deal with Boniswa, who is now the villain on the e.tv drama.
