Nokuthula Mavuso Is In Mourning. The death of a family member always leaves a void in our hearts. Thinking of all the memories we used to share make us miss the deceased even more. This is probably how Nokuthula Mavuso is feeling. The talented actress took to social media to express her grief after losing a loved one.

Thursday evening, Nokuthula shared the sad news that she lost one of her cousins, with her fans and followers on Twitter. Although she did not reveal much about what happened, Nokuthula expressed how she felt over her loss. At first, she was still trying to digest the news, and as time went by, Nokuthula started remembering her cousin with beautiful posts.

One of my cousins has just passed on. Message received but it hasn’t sunk in yet.

Bafana always tagged along even when my brother and I would want to have our own catch up sessions. He’d insist on joining us. I’m so glad he did. So many memories. Our plus one. Our baby brother…kwaze kwab’hlungu, she said.

Nokuthula also mentioned that her late cousin was a replica of her father, who passed away two moths before she was born. Condolences to her and her family.

Nokuthula, who is quite vocal on Twitter, is also one of the best actresses we have in South Africa. She acted in Rhythm City, where she played the role of Tshidi Khuse for years. Without a doubt the role has been the highlight of her career and fame at large. Tshidi was a young girl who was trying to keep up with being a diva.

Besides the admired role that she played on Rhythm City, Nokuthula is also famous for featuring in The River, another popular South African soap opera. Here, she played the role of Angel and was part of the cast for the first and second seasons of the show.

Apart from these two popular shows, the other shows that have given Nokuthula the opportunity to grace the screens for her fans include, Umlilo where she has played the role of Dumile Simelane. She also bagged roles on shows like Roots, Hard Copy, Backstage, Ambitions, Abomama and so many others.
