Applications Open for the Victor Thebe Sifora Provincial Bursary 2026 Academic Year. Are you a young, ambitious learner from the North West Province looking to further your studies? The North West Provincial Government (NWPG) invites qualifying students to apply for the Victor Thebe Sifora Provincial Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year.

About the Victor Thebe Sifora Provincial Bursary Programme

Office of the Premier invites applications for the Victor Thebe Sifora Provincial Bursary from the South African youths who are residents of the North West Province and desire to follow full-time studies during 2026 academic year at public institutions. Priority will be given to undergraduate applicants who are financially needy and academically performing well.

Application Requirements

  • Fully completed Bursary Application form (SECTIONS: A – E)
  • Proof of permanent residential address: A letter from the Traditional Authority Offices for those residing at villages and a letter from the Municipality Offices for those from towns / townships & farms; (Not statement of account, e.g. water bill, etc.);
  • Certified copy of ID Document (student);
  • Certified copy of Statement of Matric results (current matriculants). NB: Matric Certificate is compulsory for all applicants
  • Certified copy of End of year results /last academic results (Students already at tertiary)
  • ATTACH PROOF OF PARENT/S & GUARDIAN/S INCOME DOCUMENT/S: SALARY PAY SLIP/S (NB. In case of Deceased or unemployed parent/s attach copy of Death Certificate/s/ affidavit).
