Anele Mdoda Fetched For A Tweet She Posted 6 Years Ago. The truth of the matter is that most of the things that you put out there on the internet will stay forever. Even if you delete, there is no point, more so if people were quick enough to take screenshots. Sadly, when it comes to social media we get a little carried away, ad forget that we ca be held accountable for our posts. This is exactly what is happening to Anele Mdoda at the moment.
The celebrated media personality is one of the most active celebrities on social media. Each and everyday Anele shares her beautiful pictures, she posts about her activities, her son Alakhe, and even engages on issues making headlines across the country as well as around the world. This time around though Anele became the topic when she pointed out that people (celebs) are not obligated to always comment on social issues. She said, sometimes the person who is forced to comment might be going through their own personal issues.
Her stance probably comes after Miss South Africa, Shudufhadzo Musida was dragged for never saying anything on issues that are happening around the country. One of the sad incidents that people are talking about is the heart wrenching murder of gay man Andile Ntuthela. So Anele’s tweep about not forcing others to say something was definitely not received well, more so by the LGBTQI+ community. Immediately she was labeled as a homophobe. She was likened to Siv Ngesi who is currently being accused of associating himself with the LGBTQI+ community for his own gain.
A tweet that she posted back in 2015, also resurfaced as tweeps looked for ammunition against Anele.
