3 SA Male Celebrities That Boity Have Publicly Called Out Over Issues Of Gender Based Violence. It is very encouraging now that a lot of people speak out against domestic violence, rape, murder or any form of gender based violence without fear. Having noted that, a lot people feel that our celebrities are not using their public status to call out perpetrators, as well as support victims. Just the other day, former radio personality, MacG took to his podcast to tell off celebrities, who are not vocal when their friends are being accused of these kind of criminal acts.

We however, have celebrities like Ntsiki Mazwai, Penny Lebyane and Zozibini Tunzi, who have never been afraid of speaking out. Another celebrity who is consistent with calling out alleged perpetrators is Boity. The multi award winning rapper, media personality, actress and entrepreneur has publicly shared her opinions when most celebs were silent over issues of gender based violence. The likes of Mampintsha, DJ Cleo and Euphonik all know Boity’s wrath.

Euphonik

Boity recently fired some shots at Euphonik, after he made jokes about the woman who recently accused him and DJ Fresh of rape. Boity was not impressed that the DJ is turning the serious accusations he has been accused of into giggles circus. She called for Euphonik to confess or let his lawyers handle the matter.

DJ Cleo

A few years ago, Boity slammed DJ Cleo for his much publicized reunion with Brikz. The duo reunited during a  football match at Krugersdorp  correctional services facility, an act that angered many. Cleo made a surprise visit to the fallen kwaito artist who is serving 15 years behind bars for rape. Boity bashed the award winning musician and producer for supporting Brickz.

Mampitsha

We still have vivid memories of when Boity, called Mampintsha a warthog. She also stated that radio stations must not let Mampintsha share his side of the story, he can do so at a prison community radio station. This was after a shocking video of Mampintsha beating up his now fiance, Babes Wodumo trended on social media.
