Eskom Moves To Stage 6 Load Shedding and Tweeps Have This To Say. As if stage four wasn’t bad enough. load shedding is going two notches up. Eskom has announced that they are moving to stage six load shedding.
Announcing on their social media pages, Eskom said, ” We regret and sincerely apologize that stage 4 load shedding will move to Stage 6 load shedding as from 18:00 today, as a result of a shortage of capacity. This follows a technical problem at Medupi Power Station impacting additional generation supply.”
The news was obviously met by disappointed and angry responses. Celebrities like Bonang Matheba and Maps Maponyane also joined in to express their views on the breaking news.
