A lot of people, have however concluded the two are not just friends, they suspect Vusi and Somizi could be romantically involved. The rumors gained momentum, when it became evident that Somizi’s marriage to Mohale Motaung is going through a rough patch. However, the two have not let those speculations affect their friendship.
Somizi, who is quite a generous person, recently gifted Vusi a cool gift. The celebrated media personality and businessman, gave his bestie Vusi a cool statue of a woman.

Vusi recently revealed in an interview with Jon Savage on his ‘What’s Your Poison?’ podcast, that he and Somizi have known each other for 16 years. It is only now that people got to know that these two are great friends. Vusi was one of the groomsmen at Somizi’s wedding, and the two also released a dope single together in 2020.
“I met him before I even got into the music industry. He’s so real and supportive….. Somizi is one of those genuine people that believes that if you have a dream, no matter how big, you can work towards it and achieve it. His success has been motivation for me to believe this is possible. Somizi is living proof that reaching your dreams is possible,” Vusi explained.
