Fashion Designer Quiteria Responds To Allegations That He Fat Shamed Lesego Tlhabi

Fashion Designer Quiteria Responds To Allegations That He Fat Shamed Lesego Tlhabi. It takes a lot for a person to publicly stand up for themselves when they are wronged. Nonetheless, it opens up for conversation, and the person who did you wrong can be called to book . This is exactly what Lesego Tlhabi did, after she was fat shamed by a local designer. She took her story to Twitter, where a lot of people weighed in on the matter.

Lesego, pointed out that the designer in question, was previously briefed about her dress size, but decided to cause a scene about her size in the store for everyone to hear. When her dress didn’t fit, the TV personality was humiliated in front of everybody. Lesego was called, Fatty Boom Boom, which hurt her so deeply.

“So today I went to a famous designer who was told my sizes way beforehand because it’s for TV. Does he not then declare very loudly in the store after a failed try-on that he has nothing for me & then uses words like “fatty boom boom” to describe how I’d look in the designs. Yoh” Lesego said.

After revealing that the alleged body shamer is renowned designer, Quiteria Kekana, tweeps came after him. They demanded that he apologize immediately to Lesego. Quiteria who designed the gorgeous emerald green outfit that Queen B wore at The Global Citizen Concert in 2018, took to Instagram to share his side of the story.

Quiteria, said he won’t be apologizing because he did nothing wrong. He went on to say that fat is not a bad word, and he wishes he called her fat directly. He also stated that the reason he doesn’t like to work with celebrities, is for the very same thing of drama. Quiteria also slammed those who believe Lesego, instead of getting facts straight first. He said his attorney is working on the matter, and he will sue anyone dragging his name down.

A lot of those who watched Quiteria Live on Instagram, urged him to stop the video because he sounded tipsy. But did he keep quite? Contrary to that he went on and on, venting. The videos have since been deleted.
