SA Presidency Addresses Lockdown Level 5 Rumors. Covi-19 has been dominating news headlines across the world since 2020. Countries around the globe, are trying by all meas to control the spread of the virus, and save lives. Unfortunately, every day, thousands die, and millions get infected. Just like many countries out there, South Africa keeps on implementing regulations, to try deal with the spread of Covid-19.

Along with these amendments, always comes speculations, rumors as well as fake news. On social media, a lot of people are spreading news about The National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC) meeting, following strong calls from hospitals and healthcare workers to implement a harsher lockdown.

Spokesperson for the Ministry in the Presidency, Nonceba Mhlauli dismissed the news as fake. There is no planned address by the President. All the speculations on that text which has bee circulating on social media are fake and everyone is urged to ignore it.
