“It’s Not About Me,” Atandwa Kani On His Name Not Being Mentioned On Chadwick Boseman’s Tribute. Immediately after it was announced that Chadwick Boseman has passed away, tributes poured in from all over the world in his honor. Even here at home, his fans as well as Black Panther actors, remembered the talented actor.
Metro FM radio station, interviewed two local actors, John Kani and Connie Chiume, who worked with Boseman on the Black Panther set. The two award winning actors, shared their experiences of working with the late American star.
One tweep, however, noticed that Atandwa wasn’t tagged on the Metro FM post. “Include Atandwa Kani in those mentions,” the tweep said.
On the other hand Atandwa wasn’t bothered that he was not tagged. The talented actor is OK to let elders do the representing. “It’s not about me,” he explained.
