Anga Makubalo Defends Huawei Celeb Ambassadors Against A Troll

Anga Makubalo Defends Huawei Celeb Ambassadors Against A Troll. Last week Huawei Mobile SA trended on social media as they launched the new P40 and P40 Pro high-end smartphones. The mobile phone company also announce A-list celebrities as their new ambassadors.

Among them included Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Boity Thulo, Thando Thabethe, Nasty C, Anga Makubalo, DJ Tira and Nay Maps among others.

Although many of their fans were happy for these celebs, one Twitter user was left unimpressed. She argued that the chosen celebs always flaunt their iPhones, so Huawei should have chosen loyal customers to be their brand ambassadors.

Speaking for himself, Anga Makunalo said, “I only have Huawei so am I not a regular user? Yes celebrities get paid to be on campaigns but they up to date with product knowledge. No posts about something they know nothing about in campaigns. Chill.

The tweep who goes by the handle, Melanin Goddess, responded that product knowledge is something a person can get off the website. She was more interested on the day to day user experience.

As a true ambassador, Anga responded, “Ask me… I’m a day to day user…i didn’t get no info off the website.”
