Cornet Mamabolo Has A Word of Advice for Hungani Ndlovu As He Takes Over Him On Skeem Saam. Monday evening Hungani Ndlovu made his much anticipated debut on Skeem Saam as Thabo ‘Tbose’ Maputla. For a decade the role was held down by Cornet Mamabolo.

Cornet left the SABC1 educational drama in 2021, to pursue other interests. The talented actor and entrepreneur was only taking a break, and promised his fans to be back bigger and better. During this time, he focused on his business, and even bagged a role on The River, where he played Lerumo.

“This is my official break from your screens as Tbose Maputla…thanks for all the support you have shown me over the years, I literally matured to be the man I’m today before your eyes. This is a break for me to primarily focus on my insurance business; Digni Financial Services. Thanks sis Winnie,SABC,cast and crew for carrying me over the years.

Till we meet again….,” Cornet shared on social media, when he took his break.

Sadly for him, it looks like the storyline couldn’t wait any longer and a replacement was sort out. Hungani was found to be the perfect replacement to carry on the role. The talented actor, dancer and YouTuber made his debut Monday night, and quite frankly, he did his best. For some people though, his best was not enough, and they still want the original Tbose.

Cornet then stepped in to defend Hungani amidst some critics. He encouraged him to just play his role, and not take anything to heart.
