Pearl Thusi Plans On Holding A Peaceful Protest. We are only half way through 2020, and already there has been a lot of bad stuff happening around the globe. Other than the Covid-19 pandemic which has claimed many lives, in this day and age, we still have black people getting killed at the hands of the Police and army.
The recent killing of African American man George Floyd has touched a lot of black people in the entire world, who are now crying out that enough is enough. South African celebs have also joined the rest of the world under the hash tag, Black Lives Matter to stand against police brutality on black people.
One celebrity who is quite vocal on the matter is talented actress and media personality Pearl Thusi. As much as the attention is on America at the moment, Pearl wants us to look a little closer to home as there have been similar events.
Instead of just posting on social media, Pearl is looking into organizing a peaceful protest on the matter. “I’ve never organized a PEACEFUL PROTEST/MARCH – if I know anyone who does- please contact me and let’s make it happen,” she said.
