“This Is No Longer Who I Am,” Miss SA Hopeful Bianca Schoombee Apologizes For Racist Tweets

“This Is No Longer Who I Am,” Miss SA Hopeful Bianca Schoombee Apologizes For Racist Tweets. Entries for Miss SA 2020 are open and hopefuls are trying their luck with impressive videos.

People already choosing their faves, and one contestant leading the pack has been Bianca Schoombee. Unfortunately her fame was short lived when social media users dug up her tweets from six years ago in which she used strong language and appeared to be racist.

Twitter dragged her with many saying she should not be allowed to go further in the competition. In her defense, Bianca argues that she was only 14 years old and didn’t know better.

She apologizes for putting it out there for the world to see. “However, I would like to make you all aware that I have grown as a person, this is no longer who I am or what I stand for,” she said.
