Many got to know Zola back in 2013 when she played Shado, a streetwise teenager, in the second season of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions. One tweep shared a hared a particular scene of Zola doing her thing with co stars like Thando Thabethe and Zinhle Mabena.
Remembering the scene very well, Zola responded to the video saying she remembers shooting it like it was yesterday. Definitely the great old days.
After intersections roles started pouring in for Zola. Among other shows,she starred in the e.tv anthology series Mzansi Love: Kasi Style, SABC1 sitcom Single Guyz and the spin-off Single Galz. In 2015 she stared in the second season of Forced Love and Z’bondiwe.
She is current winning hearts for her role on Mzansi Magic’s prison drama series Lockdown. She joined the cast as Monde Jali, a woman jailed for possession of cocaine.
