Somizi Shows Massive Support For His Daughter Bahumi In A Heartfelt Message. Somizi and Bahumi have such a beautiful father-daughter relationship. They are both in the entertainment industry and having more experience, Somizi knows how brutal Black Twitter can be.
The media personality has come to the defence of his daughter, Bahumi Madisakwane, after many didn’t agree with her bagging a role as the late iconic singer Lebo Mathosa in a biopic titled, The Lebo Mathosa Story.
News broke out on Tuesday that Bahumi and singer Kelly Khumalo will play the Lebo Mathosa in the much anticipated biopic about her life set to be released later this year. Bahumi will be playing the younger version of Lebo, while Kelly will play the adult version.
Many are not happy with Bahumi clinching the role. After all she is Somizi and Palesa Madisakwane’s daughter, and they argue some favors were done.
Somizi did what any parent would do, and sent his daughter a reassuring message.
“Listen! Never ever question why you get certain opportunities in life. You deserve everything and you must take anything and everything they said you would never have. f**k the haters. It’s not your fault that you’re my daughter.”
“That’s a blessing that you’re my daughter. It’s not my will but God’s. You’re the chosen one. You’re gifted. Loving. Good-hearted. Talented and Smart. Let no troll make you believe otherwise,” read a piece of the letter he sent to his daughter.
