“Van Damme” Himaker Mroza Isn’t Losing Sleep Over Not Being Nominated At The Metros

Mroza, the name that has been on everyone’s lips lately says that he is no losing sleep over the fact that he is not nominated at this year’s Metros that is scheduled to take place on Saturday, on the 25th of February 2017 at the iNkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban.

It has been allegedly said that the Van Damme himaker is feeling snubbed. However, Mroza’s manager Thobela Dlamini said that the artist does not feel ignored; in fact he is not bothered even a tiny bit. “Mroza is fine with everything and understands that the station has its own of doing things” said Dlamini

Thobela further added that there will come a time where Metro FM will get calls from fans requesting that Maskandi songs to be played as well. “We need fans’ help to change the way the station is operated” he explained. SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago said that the reason Mroza was not nominated at Metros is because Van Damme was not playlisted on the station. Fans however feel that Kaizer is just rubbishing the claims that Mroza is snubbed and brushing off the matter

Kaizer went on and explained that some genres are not playlisted on the station; hence there is no Maskandi and Reggae category at the awards. “We didn’t change the rules for a specific song. These rules have always been in place and we cannot change them” he explained.
