Because of her hectic schedule, it is not easy for Nomzamo to honor her birthdays the traditional ways with loved ones singing for her, a cake with candle, the works. The talented actress and philanthropist is a busy woman, and quite often her birthday happens when she has work to do. This is exactly the case this year, as Nomzamo is busy filming her latest movie Shaka Ilembe.
Shaka Ilembe is about the iconic African king, Shaka Zulu, and tells the story from his early childhood through to adulthood. Nomzamo plays Queen Nandi, the revered mother of King Shaka. She is also executive produce the series, which explains her tight schedule.
Nonetheless, this does not mean she will let her special day pass by without observing it. To honor her birthday, Nomzamo shared a throwback picture of herself when she was still a little girl celebrating her birthday with a big cake. She compared the picture to her current situation, where she doesn’t have the time to go all out. Maybe there will be a gap one of these days, and celebrate massively, but in the meantime a cup cake will do.
