Former minister Fikile Mbalula and stern member of ANC, shared a picture of Refilwe at the event. One tweep was quick to say, “Paid mascots,” and this did not sit well with Refilwe.

The media personality and activist, dismisses the assumption and explained her involvement at the event. “This picture was taken when I was asked to address the albinism killings in KZN for the Woman’s League,” she said.
