Nambitha Mpumlwana is known by the masses for her role as Mawande Memela in SABC 1’s soapie, Generations. She was also cast in e.tv’s Ashes to Ashes as Mandlakazi and was also a lead actress in Oscar nominated movie, Tsotsi.

Although it has been a while since we saw the veteran actress in the small screen, we can never forget her impact on every role she played. It goes without saying that, Nambitha is really missed and we hope pretty soon she lands a role in a major production. Having played such roles like a family matriarch, a mother and a businesswoman, we would love to see her tackle more roles to show off her impressive skills.

As much as villains are normally the most hated in a show, they bring out the fun and the much needed drama.
