High Court Orders Somizi Mhlongo to Pay All of Mohale Motaung’s Legal Fees. Theirs has been one of the messiest celebrity divorces ever. From social media to reality shows, Mohale Motaung and Somizi Mhlongo have been dragging each other for filth.
Their extravagant wedding a few years back caught attention both on mainstream and social media. Somizi and Mohale spared no expenses for their traditional and white wedding ceremonies. All the events made headlines, and the white wedding went on to have a four-part special on Showmax, to show those who didn’t make the guest list see what went down.
Just after their white wedding people suspected that there could be trouble in paradise for the two. Well,this turned out to be true, and their over-the-top celebrations have nothing on their split. There were abuse allegations from both parties, Mohale also accused Somizi of infidelity, whereas Somizi insinuated that his ex was after his assets among other things. The once loved couple was also at the centre of social media trolling and torments. They eventually dragged each other to court.
In an interesting twist of events Somizi has reportedly decided to withdraw the case he had against Mohale. It was a counter case against Mohale relating to domestic violence. This led to the Johannesburg High Court to rule against the celebrated entertainer and entrepreneur. The court subsequently ordered him to pay every last cent owed towards his exes fees and legal fees.
The out come of the case has both Mohale and Somizi trending at the same time once again on social media. Many feel that Mohale is owed by an apology more especially from some cyber bullies. Some are curious to know why Somizi withdrew the case.
