Burnett Gededger On The Hate He Got For His Muvhango Debut. It is not an easy thing for an actor to replace another on a role they have played for some time. This is the case that Burnett Gegedger finds himself in. The new comer actor has to fill the shoes of Khathu Ramabulana, who played Hulisani on Muvhango.
Although there have been reports that Ramabulana has left Muvhango, many were shocked when a new face took on the character of Hulisani. Burnett didn’t get the welcome he anticipated, as viewers of the SABC2 weekly drama wanted the old Hulisani.
“I don’t think I’ve ever received such a wide scale of hate projected at me like this. It’s mind blowing. Peace be with all their hearts” Burnett responded to the negative feedback.
