We have yet another award ceremony coming up, and it’s all excitement on social media. The National Film & TV Awards South Africa have just announced, their nominees for this year’s awards edition. Among the nominees are media personalities, comedians, actors, and production houses.
Lerato Kganaygo, who has several major awards under her belt is one of the nominees. The media personality, DJ and entrepreneur is nominated under the Best TV Presenter category. She will be battling it out with the likes of Anele Mdoda, Minnie Dlamini, Somizi Mhlongp Nico Panagio, Lawrence Maleka and Katlego Maboe.
Reacting to her nomination, Lerato tweeted, “It’s raining nominations.”

As the driving force behind esteemed awards such as the National Film Awards UK, National Film & TV Awards USA, and National Reality Television Awards, the Academy has today announced the launch of the annual National Film & TV Awards here in South Africa.
The South African annual version of the NFTA is set to take place at the Opera Theatre, in Pretoria on the 21st of October 2023.
