Actress and TV personality Pearl Thusi is beyond grateful to Basetsana Khumalo have has been a mother figure to her. The Quantico actress took to her Instagram account to show gratitude to her mentor

“She gave me my first laptop. Helped me bury my mother. Held my hand as I became a mother. Taught me lessons about being a lady” Pearl wrote in a heartfelt social media post. She went on to describe Bassie as an angel who was sent by her late mother

“I can’t claim to have been a motherless orphan because of women like you” the actress further added. Pearl got this emotional when her mentor paid her a visit in the States where she is currently filming for a drama series called Quantico.

Bassie also shared on her social media pages how proud she is. “I continue to marvel at her success. I know the sheer hard work, dedication, sacrifices and tenacity it has taken for her to come to this” said Bassie
