This is truly the case with Trevor Noah. After being a host on The Daily Show for seven years, he called it quits. Noah’s final show was on 8 December, and he will surely be missed. When he started not many people believed in him, as he was just a foreigner filling in the gig shoes of. Noah eventually grew over the years becoming a seasoned host loved by many.
Noah’s presence on The Daily Show has led to three stand-up specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. He has also interviewed Hollywood renowned public figure such as Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Will Smith, Zozibini Tunzi, Thuso Mbedu, Nomzamo Mbatha among many others. Among other things, Noah has also bagged several awards including an Emmy for Best Short Form Variety Series, and a Best Host award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, beating Ellen DeGeneres.
The multi-award winning comedian and TV host, has also made strong friendship bonds with many Hollywood stars while still on the show.
