NYDA Joins Forces With Google To Train 1Million People In Africa
It has been announced that Google will join forces with NYDA in order to train about one million people in Africa on digital skills as part of their contribution to growing Africa’s digital economy. It is believed that if young people have the right skills, they can be able to boost the continent’s economic growth
The training sessions cover the following subjects:
- Introduction to digital skills
- Building your online presence
- Introduction to mobile
- Digital skills opportunity
The project is aimed at young people, between the age of 18 and 5. It is also free of charge and each attendee will receive a Google certificate of attendance once they have completed the 0hour training attendance
