Made in Africa Events, a division of Sharon Consulting and The Opulence Holdings are looking for an intern to help them manage the logistics of the upcoming Made in Africa Proudly SA Event that is to take place on the 26th of November 2016.
Duties
• Telemarketing
• PR and Media relations – for TV, RADIO and PUBLISHERS
• Social media community Management
• Setting up appointments for the Events Manager
• Managing invitations
• Database control – building new database for events participant
• Fundraising/sponsorship – Following up on communication
• Selling Market stalls to entrepreneurs for the event
• Selling Stickers and handing out flyers to the public
• Helping on the day of the event – with event setup and being a part of the crew
What you will learn

– Sponsorship sourcing
– Social Media marketing
What you will earn
– Commission on the stickers sold and stalls booked
– R15 an hour
– Training from experts
– Experience
Your Commitment
– 10 hours a week/ 2 days a week (includes every Saturday 9-1pm plus 6 hours during the week )
– Available from the 3rd of September to 3rd of December
– Must be available on social media (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
– Must be living in Pretoria (Not far from the CBD)
Job Requirements
– Must have knowledge//interest in events management
– Must have a knowledge/interest in graphic design and photography
– Must have done studies in Marketing/Public Relations/ graphic design
