Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that manifests primarily as a difficulty with written language, particularly with reading and spelling.

Although dyslexia is the result of a neurological difference, it is not an intellectual disability. Dyslexia occurs at all levels of intelligence, average, above average, and highly gifted.

“I was born Dyslexic. So all my life I had to put music as a priority to be able to read and write. ”

“Kids used to tease me but because I have such a strong personality, I managed to cover it up and at some point no one was able to see or know what was happening to me because I went home and worked extra hard. Listening to music to be able to speak and write”.

“Coming from a black family and they associated with laziness. They never believe that someone could be born and not know how to read”.
