Olwethu Leshabane Announces Her New Job As A Doula

Olwethu Leshabane Announces Her New Job As A Doula. It’s always heartwarming to see celebrities embrace opportunities outside the entertainment industry. Seeing them ordinary jobs, encourages others that one can be anything that they want, without any outside pressure.

Olwethu Leshabane, is one of the celebrities who explore opportunities outside the industry. Many know her as a TV personality, actress, media entrepreneur and creative producer. Olwethu has also made a name for herself as an early childhood development advocate. She also created the Juno by AoS digital platform and “digital doula” service designed to support, guide, and empower expectant and new mothers.

Olwethu had such a beautiful and healing natural birth after 2 c-sections, and was inspired to get her doula certification. This was to learn about how to hold space for more women no matter what their birthing journeys are. Now she gets to practice that, with Blissful Birth SA. She has just joined the clinic as their doula, and is looking forward to the journey ahead.

There is something incredibly sacred about walking alongside a woman as she steps into motherhood 🤍

I’m so proud to be walking this doula journey with @blissfulbirthsa – a space that truly honours pregnancy, birth and beyond. So excited about what this journey will teach me and to soak up all the new learnings.
Here, they don’t just “deliver babies”… they support women.

As a doula, my role is to provide emotional, physical and educational support – whether you’re preparing for birth, in the intensity of labour or navigating those tender first days postpartum. It’s about creating a safe, empowering and deeply supported experience for both mom and partner.

What I love most about this practice is the holistic approach – from antenatal care and a beautiful homebirth unit, to postnatal visits and ongoing support. It’s a full-circle journey into motherhood, held with intention and care.

Because birth isn’t just a moment… it’s a memory that lives in your body forever.

If you’re on your motherhood journey (or preparing for it), let us walk the journey with you🌸,”
