Here is what some of concerned celebrities said on the matter.
Nothing worse than having to go through the trauma of being mugged, attacked, held at knife and even gun point.
Horrified in reading about what some people experienced after the concert last night. I am so so sorry it had to end like that. ❤️

My heart hurts from the #GlobalCitezenFestivalSA #Sasol crime tweets. How tragic to experience so much violence after a global movement advocating goodness. Let the funds pledged make their way to those in need because gross inequality truly begets crime.

Guys We almost died after #GlobaCitizenFestivalSA (At Sasol Garage) – it was a mess, people were getting robbed, they were stampedes and apparent guns.

What happened last night with MASS muggings is the first clear sign that the country is not stable ……that the poor are ready to fight . #GlobalCitizenConcert

To everyone who was at Sasol and had to go through that awful experience after the concert, uxolo!
Once again, this is a reminder of reality for many & unfortunately law enforcement was toothless.
