Bonang & Dj Sbu Get Nominated For The “Drama Queen of the Year” Award
The nominees for this year’s Feather Awards have been revealed and they are bringing some more flavour to the awards!! The organisers of the Feathers take a unique tongue-in-cheek approach to their award categories, which sometimes cut close to the bone and don’t spare the egos of even the rich and famous. TV personalities Bonang Matheba and Dj Sbu have been nominated in the category ‘Drama Queen of the Year’ at SA’s Feather Awards. The ‘Drama Queen of the Year’ category at the annual Feather Awards is always one of our favourite categories.
Bonang Matheba is known for eschewing showbiz spectacle in favor of a drama-free life (by celeb standards), but she sure has found herself in the middle of a real-life soap opera recently (Read About Bonang’s Drama Here). And who can forget Dj Sbu? He is the guy who had a lot of drama enough to ruin his reputation. He definitely stands a chance of scooping the award, what do you think?
The glitzy ceremony will take place on 12 November, and will be hosted by Tall A$$ Mo and Luthando ‘LootLove’ Shosha.

Hot Chick of the Year: Bonnie Mbuli, Jessica Nkosi and Pearl Modiadie
Media Award of the Year: Ses’Top La, Hola Africa and Mamba online .
Fag hag of the Year: Refilwe Modiselle, Akhumzi Jezile and Atandwa Kani.
Musician of the Year: AKA, KO and Ricky Rick.
Socialite of the Year: Nomuzi Mabena and Maps Maponyane.
