Economic Development Department: Internship Opportunity

EDD invites applications for Internship opportunities. Applicants between 18 and 35 years of age will be considered. Successful Interns will be appointed for a period of twelve months. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R5 000.00.Applicants from the following fields may apply:

  • Economic Policy Development(B degree or three (3) year Diploma in Economics)
  • Social Dialogue(B degree or three (3) year Diploma that include studies in: Economics Research  Project Management  Political Science)
  • Economic Planning and Coordination(B degree or three (3) year Diploma that include studies in:
    Economics  Statistics Public Administration)
  • Internal Audit(B degree or three (3) year Diploma in Internal Audit)
  • Legal Services(B degree or three (3) year Diploma in Internal Audit)
  • Legal Services(LLB degree)
  • Office of the Chief Financial Officer(B degree or three (3) year Diploma in Finance or Logistic/ Purchasing)
  • Human Resources Management(B degree or three (3) year Diploma in Human Resource or Public Administration)
  • Office of the Director-General(B degree or three (3) year Diploma in Public Administration or Office Administration)
  • Information Technology(B. degree or three (3) year Diploma in Information Technology)
  • Planning and Reporting(B degree or three (3) year Diploma in Public Administration/ Public Management or Office Administration)

Application must be submitted on form Z83, obtainable from any Public Service Department or on the internet atwww.dpsa.gov.za/documents. The completed and signed forms Z83 should be accompanied by recently updated, compressive CV as well as certified copies of all qualification(s) and ID-documents. Should you be in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from South African qualification Authority (SAQA). Applicants who do not comply with the above-mentioned requirements, as well as applications received late, will not be considered. Failure to submit all the requested documents will results in the application not being considered.
