Univeler SA: Applications for Future Leaders Programme

Unilever South Africa has opened applications for its Future Leaders Programme (UFLP) and the Unilever Leaders Internship Programme (ULIP) to eligible final year university students and pen-ultimate students respectively.

The annual intake, which is highly sought after by many undergraduates in South Africa and the rest of the world, will give successful applicants the opportunity to receive business mentoring and hands-on internship in the fields of Customer Development, Research and Development, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Supply Chain.

Furthermore, what is gratifying about the graduate programme is that the successful applicants receive first-hand experience in creating a brighter future for South Africans by ensuring our brands have relevance to our communities, children and farmers in South Africa,” says Peter Cowan, chairperson of Unilever South Africa.

In order to ensure that the Programme offers a broad experience, graduates will not be restricted to their particular field of study, but will also be given the opportunity to be part of other functions within the FMCG conglomerate during the three year programme.

To add to its employer accolades, Unilever was in 2014 rated as the third most sought-after employer in the world, according to a new study from social networking site LinkedIn.
