Many know her as a multi-award winning and legendary actress. Just recently Leleti was honored with a Honorary Doctorate (LLD) from Rhodes University. This was in recognition of her profound contribution to South African theatre, film and television, and for her enduring role in using storytelling to illuminate the social realities of the country. Across more than three decades, Leleti’s performances have brought global attention to South African history, identity and resilience.
One of her biggest callings besides acting, is being a loving wife and a doting mother. Leleti’s social media is filled with posts of her husband as well as their two children. With her husband, she attends major events, and even travel oversees. Her children get to enjoy family outing, and also go to mommy’s events. The family was there when Leleti got her honorary doctorate, which was such a special moment for all of them.
Leleti has just shared more content from her graduation, this time her family is included. On the caption, she expressed gratitude over the support they gave her. Leleti also added that she wishes everyone gets to have the same beautiful family moments.
“As we celebrated Family Day yesterday I can’t help but reflect on one of the most important days of my life and be grateful for my little family. For cheering me on and for just simply being there.
