Communicating openly with your client base is also a important part when it comes to finding your niche. When you start attracting a refined form of client base, client relations become the most important element of running your business smoothly. Keep these clients informed during the entire production process about how the product will be etc.
Quitting your day job is very similar to saying ‘no’. Saying ‘no’ to steady income is scary but inevitably leads to many more opportunities and increasing your client base and in the end increased income.

The best way to develop a niche in your business is not based on a specific task or plan but, rather on a specific a feeling or even better a gut feeling. This niche is connected to a brand that you have created and are sure about. The niche should be the experience you create for the client. By going this route, you will be able to build your brand around this experience rather than a specific style of production.

Finding your niche is probably the hardest part of the business process. It is what will drive you and help you determine what work to take and what work to say ‘no’ to. The simplest answer is to find your passion and what drives you and build a business around it. If you are unsure what it is, then there are a few things you can do that will help you find it.
What is it that drives you?
Find the one thing that drives you and makes you want to use it to change the world or influence others to better their lives using your passion. What drives you should be important to you and you should be so passionate about it that if anyone whats to destroy it you should be able to say no.
If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
If you could do anything in the world what would it be and how will it influence or change your life for the better? Will it also help others and will it be a part of your business dream and growth?
If you were dying, what knowledge do you have that you would like to share?
Sharing is caring and this does not only apply to food. Leaving your knowledge for others to use leaves behind your legacy and uniqueness in business. You should have a new kind of knowledge something that makes your thinking different from all the others that are already out there and may have been your competitors.
Ask someone, what would you buy from me if I was smart enough to sell it to you?
Finding out what people need or what from a new business allows the business to launch with a new and unique clientele basis.
What are you good at?
What are you good at that no one else can do. It’s important to know what areas you are talented in to help you determine what kind of business you would with no doubt excel in.
What do you enjoy doing?
I know it may sound wrong but why not make money from what you enjoy doing.
What do you do in your free time?
What you enjoy doing in your free time should ultimately be the one thing that drives you the most.
Who do you want to work with?
Choosing the right business partners and the right employees allows determines how great your business services will be and that results in the success or failure of your business.
Unfortunately, if you do not know the answers to the questions above, the process will be a little more difficult for you as you will probably experience a few start and stops. Don’t be scared of this. Making mistakes is okay and they are actually a good thing. Not only do they show that you are human, these mistakes show that you are able to evolve as your skill-set / interests evolve. By also crafting your niche around the experience rather than the task, you will be able to evolve and maintain your current client base. Further to this, you will also be able to use this niche model you have created and apply to your new interests.
