Its target audience is 25-49, with a 50/50 Zulu-English language mix. Vuma aspires to be the voice and inspiration for black middle-class listeners in the region.

Requirements

• Strong business/commercial skills
• At least three years’ senior management experience in commercial radio (as either station manager, deputy, or as commercial director/GM of sales)
• At least eight years’ overall experience in radio.
• Entrepreneurial flair/experience in growing businesses
• Proven leadership skills

Advantageous

• A deep business and social network in the province
• Thorough understanding of the dynamics of the radio and advertising market in KZN

Personal Skills/Attributes

• Fluency in Zulu would be a strong recommendation
