Old Mutual: Scheme Administrator

This role provides immediate response to administrative requirements in accordance with SLA parameters, in a processing environment.  The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts in the scheme administration area. 
KRA’s
SPECIFIC KEY RESULT AREAS:n  Ensure appropriate data is received and that discrepancies are identified and explored.

n  Interpret client requirements and deliver accordingly.

n  Calculate accurate and timely rate reviews and quotations by applying sound business principles, technical expertise and sound judgement.

n  Ensure required rates are timeously implemented.

n  Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure financial soundness and conformance to service level agreements.

n  Provide a hassle-free service to clients by attending to requests on time, presenting information in a professional manner, being flexible where appropriate and by being proactive in preventing potential problems.

n  Check changes and amendments to policy conditions to ensure they are correct and actioned.

n  Manage competitor information and ensure that information Old Mutual provides to the market is correct.

Job Requirements
Matric with Maths.Group Risk knowledge and experience.Insurance industry experience.

Working experience in an Employee Benefit environment advantageous.

Group Assurance experience would be an advantage.

PC proficiency in MS Office programmes e.g. Word & Excel.

Proven numerical ability.

 

Have the ability to apply complex numerical reasoning in a business context.

Have the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.

Have sound analytical and problem solving abilities with a strong focus on attention to detail.

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work effectively with internal and external clients to accomplish team and organization goals.
