” I’m not poor. But I’m broke” – Says Dj Sbu

We all know Dj Sbu for the hustler that he is, who always urges South African citizens to ‘think out of the box’ and start their own businesses. One thing that’s most certain is that the TV and radio personality is not just all talks, this year, the Dj launched his first energy drink, Mofaya which ended up being shrouded in controversy after the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) found it was not officially approved and carried its stamp illegally in April this year. But that didn’t get Dj Sbu down, he continued to soldier on with his quest to put Mofaya on the map.

Leope says people must stop complaining about the government and come up with innovative ideas that will help improve other people’s lives and their lives. And of course, Dj Sbu’s efforts go unnoticed but it seems that the Dj has not achieved most of his goals yet! Sbusiso Leope, who’s popularly known as Dj Sbu took to social media recently where he revealed that he is financially struggling saying promoting Mofaya has put him in more debt. He pointed out that he has risked and compromised a lot to promote the energy drink.

He wrote:

” I’m not poor. But I’m broke. More broke than I have been in a long time. I’m deep in debt. Every last cent. Drop of blood sweat tears. Emotions. Energy. Everything has been invested in #MyStartUp . Been fired. Laughed at. Called crazy & more. Are you willing to risk it all for your dream? “

It is true, Dj Sbu has been through it all and he is far from giving up.
