Connections…..
We all know that starting a business is a good idea, but now that it’s done what next? Business needs continuous growth to be sustained, meaning one needs to establish and maintain relationships and connections within the field. Just like no man is an island, no business can survive on its own.
As much as business owners work better alone, but the best platform is to make use of social platforms such as local sports clubs. You’re more likely to find people who like the same things you like in your social circles. An example, people playing in the same golf club are likely to have the same interests. This way conversation is likely to flow into business without the feeling of a business meeting with a strict atmosphere.
Social networks are another easy way of creating business connections. The most common with the easiest access being Face book and Twitter. Following and communicating with people in the same line of business with you and people or companies who inspire you and can influence growth onto your business.
A great start however is with attending a few business conferences. There you are guaranteed to find people like yourself in pursuit of connections and growth. Happy networking!!!
