8 Reasons to start your own business

It’s never too late to start your own business, pursue your passion, get paid for it and be your own boss. Here are more reasons why you should do it today, or at least get started.
• Time: Your time is in your control. Everyone seems to be complaining of not having time as they are all spending it at work if not on duties. As a business owner, you do what you want with your time, be it investing it into your business or relaxing while others work for you.

• Fulfilling your own interests: With the business being your own, you would be doing something you have a passion.
• No more travelling expenses: With the continuous rising petrol prices, anyone would love to cut down on such a cost. Being self-employed means you can work from home or where ever it may be convenient for you.

• Be your own boss: Some people don’t like working for other people because they don’t like being told what to do. Being your own boss means you say what goes, all orders come from you.
• New skills and knowledge: Running a business is a skill and that would look good on you CV. It also sounds good to say that “I run my own business”. This gives people the impression that you are independent and confident to run a business.

• Challenges: Starting a business gives the opportunity to experience the challenges of running a business if you were working for someone else.

• Variety: Most people with a day-to-day job get bored with doing the same thing for years. As a business owner, you get to do a variety of things such as being in charge of HR, Finance, Management, and etc.

• Making your own money: It’s not only big companies who make money, entrepreneurs  that goes directly into their pockets. As a business owner you get to see the results of your efforts and rewards of your hard work.
