Vacancy: Sales assisitant

A position exists at a primary food ingredient supplier for a full-time dynamic and energetic in house sales person residing in the Helderberg basin.  Relevant qualifications or proven sales abilities are key competencies for this position.

Requirements:

• Foster and maintain excellent customer relationships
• Organize and maintain the office environment
• Use own initiative and be able to problem solve
• Take orders from customers telephonically
• Be flexible with regard to time worked
• Record and process  orders on Pastel
• Manage drivers daily delivery schedules

• Must have Matric with a pass in mathematics
• Professional telephone manner and fluent in  English &  Afrikaans
• Must be able to organize and prioritize
• Must be able to work accurately under pressure
• Computer literate with knowledge of Excel. Pastel experience would be an advantage
• Strong selling skills and past experience
• Knowledge of accounting practices would be advantageous
