Shudufhadzo Musida Inspires With the Book She Has Read In January. One thing about Shudufhadzo Musida, she is big on books. So far, she has two published books, which as so far doesn’t very well in the market.
In September 2021, she penned Shudu Finds Her Magic, is aimed at children aged from 4 to 9, to help them overcome being bullied as well as to survive the trauma that comes with it. The amazing book is available in six languages. Shudu also chose her book as part of her Beauty with a Purpose project for the Miss World 2021 pageant. In 2023, she wrote another book titled, I Am Shudu, Finding my Voice, Knowing my Strength, which also touches on bullying.
Not only is she published author, is also an avid reader. The former Miss South Africa, TV personality has just dropped the four books she has read in the month of January. They are Shoe Dog by Phil Knight, Americanah, Atomic Habits as well as The Prophet. She then wanted reviews for those who have read the books, and encouraged those who haven’t to check the books out.
“Books I read this month 🤍
📖 Shoe Dog by Phil Knight
Loved it because it reminds me that success is messy, human, and earned, and that it’s okay not to have everything figured out while playing the long game.
📖 Americanah by @chimamanda_adichie
Loved it because it speaks so honestly about identity and love, and how who we are can shift depending on where we are, while still calling us back to our core and it’s up to us to listen.
📖 Atomic Habits by @jamesclear
I loved it because it made me reflect on how much our systems, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are, matter more than the goals we chase.
📖 The Prophet by Khalil Gibran
I loved it because it turns life’s biggest questions into beautiful, relatable poetry.
If you’ve read any of these, I’d love to know what stayed with you.
And if you haven’t, maybe this is your sign ✨
Love, Shudu x,” she said.
