Just a couple of days ago, Cyan Boujee made headlines, after denying being in a relationship with Blaq Diamond’s Ndu Brown. She stated that the musician claimed they were dating, when in actual fact, he was just looking after her dog.
Now she is on the news again, and this time is for something serious. A few influencers, one of them being Cyan have shared some videos advertising questionable opportunities abroad. In the clips, they are promoting a 2-year long ‘Alabuga Start Programme targeting young women. The campaign encourages unemployed women aged 18 to 22 to move to Russia. Those taking part in the programme will apparently acquire professional skills and commence their careers. Cyan highlighted that participants would be well taken care of and would be living in a pyramid-shaped building with thousands of other women from around the world. The programme promises to teach the young ladies different languages, including Russian.
Immediately after the videos were uploaded, social media users, called out the ladies. They were dragged for luring young vulnerable women to human trafficking syndicates. Even government and organization pitched in. The Justice, Crime Prevention and Security through their social media page, advised citizens to not rely solely on social media promotions. They urged the public to always cross-check and get a second opinion from a trusted source.
In what seems like a comeback, Cyan has uploaded a series of picture of herself in a flight, living soft. On the caption, she bragged about her life, and said she is ignoring the drama.
“Legs stretched, champagne poured, drama ignored,” Cyan captioned her travel content.
