Brief description:

In recognition of the outstanding talent of many international students, Cardiff University offers a highly prestigious International Scholarship Fund designed to attract and reward the brightest students.  The Elite International Scholarships are offered for both Undergraduate (Bachelors) and Postgraduate Taught (Masters) studies.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

Undergraduate Scholarships
This award will cover tuition fees for a student studying an Undergraduate course (fixed upto a maximum of £17,000 per year, for no more than 3 years).

Postgraduate Taught Scholarships
These awards will cover tuition fees for students studying Postgraduate Taught courses (upto a maximum of £17,000 for no more than 1 year).

Eligibility:

• You must be confirmed as an Overseas Student for fee paying purposes.

• Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught applicants for the Elite International Scholarships must have received a conditional or unconditional offer for the 2014/15 academic year. Undergraduate applicants must have accepted Cardiff University as their Firm choice on the UCAS system by 1300 (UK time) Friday 30th May 2014. Postgraduate Taught applicants must have accepted their offer via the Cardiff University SIMS online application service by 1300 (UK time) Friday 30th May 2014.

• Cardiff University must have received your application for an academic course by 1300 (UK time) Wednesday 30th April 2014. You must have received, and firmly accepted, a conditional or unconditional offer by the deadline of 1300 (UK time) Friday 30th May 2014.

Application instructions:

Only admitted students are eligible for the scholarships. You can not apply for the scholarship if you haven’t been accepted to a course at Cardiff University. The International Scholarship Fund application form will only be available when you have firmly accepted a conditional or unconditional offer to study at Cardiff University.  You must return the completed scholarship application form by the deadline: 1300 (UK time) Friday 30 May 2014.
