Check Out How Big Brother Titans Housemates Rocked the AMVCA Opening Night and Cultural Day. This was definitely a night to remember by many fans out there who followed the reality show. The Big Brother Titans Season I former housemates held their own at one of the most prestigious events in the African calendar.

On Thursday, the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards officially kicked of with the ‘Opening Night and Cultural Day’ event – a celebration of African culture and diversity. Several Nigerian stars and media personalities were in attendance, each sporting a traditional ensemble representing different cultures. The likes of Venita Akpofure, Mercy Aigbe and Ini Dima-Okojie are among the many celebrities who stole the show with their beautiful traditional outfits.

Participants from Big Brother Titans were also expected to make an appearance. A number of them pulled up for the cultural day to represent their respective cultures. The event saw stars like Jenni O, Olivia Chioma Okoro, Jaypee, Yemi Cregx, Thabang, Blue Aiva, Tsatis and Juicy Jay showing off in their elegant attires. Yemi and Venita won the best dressed male and female.

Many applauded Juicy Jay for being bold enough to rock his Xhosa attire, proudly representing his origins. Marvin Archi who just left South Africa, rocked a Zulu attire to appreciate the warm hospitality he has been getting in the country. As for Thabang, Blue and Tsatsi they rocked Nigerian inspired attires, to blend in with the locals. Mmeli, who recently went to Nigeria, couldn’t be bothered by sticking to any theme. He just rocked a white shirt, some black pants and was good to go.

This event will be followed by the ‘Runway Show and Nominee Gala’ today, Friday, May 19.
