SAFTAS17 Public Voting Lines Now Open
The SAFTAS17 public voting lines are now open. A few days back the South African Film and Television Awards organizers have dropped the names of talents, as well as shows that are up for nomination for their 17th award edition. Many personalities among them, Thando Thabethe, Ntando Duma and Claire Mawisa took to social media to celebrate their nominations.
For her nomination, Thando said, “Not ONE but TWO‼️‼️‼️
I prayed sooo hard for this and God said yes!!! I loved playing Linda Ndlovu soooo much, and I’m so happy that my work for housekeepers is finally being recognised…@portiagumedesa come this side 😭😭😭, I’m beyond elated…. And then my girl Beauty got pregnant and allowed to have the best time on How to Ruin Christmas: the baby shower …to be nominated in a leading role in two completely different categories has been my dream and God did a thing here … I have no words…I’m so happy 🤣🤣🤣 thank you @saftassa.”
As for Ntando, she is over the moon that a show she hosts, Dance Your Dumo, made its first entry in the SAFTA nomination list.
