Nomzamo Mbatha Shares Snippets From Her Forbes Summit Speech In Botswana. A week ago, Nomzamo Mbatha was among one of the speakers at the Forbes Under 30 Africa Summit which was held in the neighboring Botswana.

The talented actress, media personality, humanitarian and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador is well know for her global influence. Nomzamo has been involved with charity work and humanitarian projects in Africa and beyond. In 2017 she was appointed to be a High-Profile Supporter for the LuQuLuQu campaign, which led her to be chosen to be a Goodwill Ambassador at the United Nations Refugee Agency in 2019. In addition, she is an honorary member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.

At the Forbes Summit, Nomzamo spoke about what drives her each day, among other things. Although not having money is an inconvenience, Nomzamo stated that she is driven more by impact. She defines success as making an impact in other people’s lives. “There is no glory in being the only success story,” Nomzamo said.

She also revealed that she has always wanted to work for the United Nations, as well as United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS. This is because growing up, Nomzamo took care of some loved ones who had HIV. As a primary caregiver, she had vast knowledge on ARVs, and the virus itself..
