Lasizwe Shares His Family Reactions As Awkward Dates Comes to TV. A few weeks back, it was announced that eight of the most influential and disruptive podcasts and YouTube shows are coming to TV. Just like they are online, these shows are coming to the small screen as real, raw and energetic as they have always been.
Awkward Dates, a YouTube show by Lasizwe is among the shows selected for TV. The show offers a fresh and entertaining look at the awkward moments that arise during celebrity dates. Hosted by Lasizwe, and sometimes his brother, Lungile, the show blends humor with candid conversations. The show keeps on evolving every now and then, and it is a hit with A-list celebs and political leaders. So far the likes of Julius Malema, Boity Thulo, Thando Thabethe, Maps Maponyane, Christal and many others have featured on the show.
Awkward Dates will start airing from Saturday, 12 April at 21:00 on Mzansi Magic channel 161. This is by far a big one for Lasizwe, and fans of the show. It was such a touching moment when he pulled out a framed picture of his late mom, and said he wished she was here. Nonetheless, Lasizwe still has family rooting for him. He called some of his family members to share the great news with them. Each and everyone of them shared in the joy, congratulating Lasizwe on the achievement.
