Ashay Sewlall Unveiled As One of the Tropika Island of Treasure Contestants. Season 12 of the Tropika Island of Treasure premieres 23 September, and everyone already knows who the celebrity contestants are. We have Nadia Nakai, Caster Semenya, Francois Hougaard, Leandie du Randt, Sandile Mahlangu, Amanda du-Pont, Lalela Mswane and Wiseman Mncube. The smoooth fans who will be joining them on Réunion Island, are also being unveiled bit by bit. Among the is the one and only, Ashay Swelall.
Ashay is no stranger to competition. Many know him as a reality show star from Big Brother Mzansi Season 6. He did very well in the competition,winning a lot of fans out there. Ashay is also into sports, and has played football, done athletics, rugby, hockey and cricket. He also has a Comrades Marathon under his belt. This goes without saying that he is bringing some serious determination to the island!
